i was reading in my new bible i got for christmas from a speacil young lady..on tuesday when pastor young was preaching in 1 Corinthinans for are footwashing servies which by the way was awsome..but i came across in the same chapter they talk about a huge subject that people always talk about and question the rock church about.and it has to do with why are women dont cut there hair and why are men dont have long hair..well in 1 corinthinans 11:6 that a women in the days of paul if a women was to be covered to show modesty and submission to her husband and to demonstrate dignity,the viel was ment that she was to be respected and honored as a women.its also why are women waer dresses and clothes that are modest.because in those days if a women did not do those things she was not respected by no man.the viel serves as a sign of value and glory as womenhood as God created them.a women that does this enhances her own God-given place of dignity and worth..viel also symbolize "power" or authority on her head.and the reason that a man does not have long hair is to distinguish between one and the other. other words to tell men and women apart.in the days of paul the corinthins if a man had long hair it signified you where a paganmale and for a women with short hair it identified them as a prostitutes.so just because the paintings and sculptures of jesus have him in long hair its belived that jesus was following the nazirite vow or upon the imaginition of the artist from the middle ages, not upon biblical or historical evidence.so use as guys cant use that as a excuse to have long hair... so i thank my pastor and bishop for seting standards for ... See Morethere church based on the bibcal way..this world needs standards with out the churches would be like the world today...be not confromed by this world.

Wow... What to say??? God has been so incredible to me!

It's amazing to think that i have been blessed with such awesome friend's and family...

In a quote somewhere reads " If you have one good friend in the world you have been very

fortunate, If you have two you are extremely blessed!" Whoever wrote that was very intelligent

and insightful....

Well let me give you a update on how life is going for me and living with the Lord.I can't even put in words how blessed I am, God has done so much for me these past couple weeks. Bus Ministry has really been a real impact in my life, talking and getting to know the kids on the route.They keep me going, that's for sure lol.I have been elected to create The Rock Church bus ministry blog trcbusministry.blogspot.com. I have been going to San Joaquin Valley College as I have posted in previous post, I have completed 6 months of school already and have an additional 8 months until I graduate with my AA Degree In Criminal Justice. My doctor has told me that I have type 2 diabetes it has been a tough thing to swallow but I'm keeping my head up and keeping God first and everything will be just fine. In conclusion of this update i have to Thank dear friends that have help me thru my rough times and staying by my side until the end of race, also to my best friend i thank you Alyssa for everything you have done for me, you are a special young lady and I'm glad to have you as my friend.

Forgiveness

A letter written to a man on death row by the Father of the man whom the man on death row had killed:

You are probably surprised that I, of all people, am writing a letter to you, but I ask you to read it in its entirety and consider its request seriously. As the Father of the man whom you took part in murdering, I have something very important to say to you.

I forgive you. With all my heart, I forgive you. I realize it may be hard for you to believe, but I really do. At your trial, when you confessed to your part in the events that cost my Son his life and asked for my forgiveness, I immediately granted you that forgiving love from my heart. I can only hope you believe me and will accept my forgiveness.

You see, my Son who died was my only child, and I now want to share my life with you and leave my riches to you. This may not make sense to you or anyone else, but I believe you are worth the offer. If I can forgive you for your part in my Son's death, I can forgive you for anything. I know you never will be perfect, but you do not have to be perfect to receive my offer. I’m Trying, But…

I’m trying, but…
what I want to do,
I don’t do enough of,
and what I don’t want to do,
I do too much of.
I know the rules for a Christian life,
according to the Bible,
and I’m trying; I really am, but…
heaven and eternity seem so far away,
and the rampantly materialistic world
presses in so close
from every direction, every side,
that I get distracted.
Focus, focus, focus!
I need to focus, laser-like
on a simple, God-centered life.
Do I really need
to make that frivolous purchase,
instead of giving the money
to someone who needs it
so much more than I do?
Can I watch that TV show,
read that book, listen to that song
that contains (and promotes!)
even a little bit
of what the Bible forbids,
without being corrupted?
Do I do enough
to love and help and encourage others?
Pride always hovers,
eagerly waiting
to subdue and conquer humility,
so I think too much of myself.

Help Me Forgive

When rage and fury overwhelm my heart,
It’s time to look to God’s own Holy Word.
I search the Bible for His good advice;
My will to His commands must be deferred.

In Romans God reveals His love for me;
In all things God works only for my good;
He gives me blessings I can’t understand;
I’d be peaceful if I’d do the things I should.

Jesus forgave so much; why then can’t I?
I want to mold my life after His own.
I pray, I try, but my sinful nature wins;
Lord, help me, I can’t do this thing alone.

In Colossians, I read about the peace of Christ;
Oh, how I long to feel it in my heart.
All I have to do is to forgive,

Well how wonderful it is to no how powerful are god is?
These past couple services we’ve been in revival and the sprit of the lord has been at every service…as Backsliders find there way back home the lord moves and reaches out for those that are lost and confused..

I thank god for bring me home when he did my life was so full of emptiness, it was like searching for a shoe in the dark... The devil had had my mind so wrapped up with lies, hatred and pain I had my heart set on not going back to church but god just kept reaching for me and would not give up on me.. I cry as I write this cause I kept giving up on him but yet he loved me kept reaching out to me but I kept pushing him away.. I no that you readers are probably wondering what I’m talking about because I had said I comeback a couple months back and that’s true I did but the devil was messing with my mind sending me message of doubt that I could be doing better stuff with my life so I questioned everything like: was this the right religion? Would I be better off doing something else with my life? Is what the pastor saying to me the truth? Is letting go all my friends that have been bad influence on me that has no intention to follow god worth what god has in store for me? And I fell again because my problem really was with me and not just listen to god and let him do the thing he had planed for me. To be honest with you I got scared of what god had for me, everything was just going to good to be true and faster then normal and I ran from the lord again.. Coming home made me realized that I have been a fool for letting the devil take me from the one that truly believed in me.. “I Pray to god that he will renew my mind, heart and soul make a new creature in Christ, and that I never fall from him again” Amen I thank all those that said a pray for me those that never gave up and stayed faithful to me and believed that I would make it. Now its time to do gods plan and when those that are still lost and help those that don’t understand the true love and what there missing out without god. Much love to all of you that took the time to read this, I pray you, you pray for me and together well make it in Jesus name!!!

The Night You Fall On Your Knee’s

One Saturday A young man walked into the church with his family. They went and sat in the back, The show started and it was so powerful that the young man start to shake and get scared to where he wanted to leave but he didn’t he waited till the play was over than he ran he was outside thinking to himself why do I keep running? Its time that I come home, the pride in his heart kept him from going to the alter but a elder of the church new what this young man was able to do with his talents, he had a passion for drama but he let it go down the drain and he turned away from his calling and walked away from the church, turned his back on god. He was a special kid in church for fifteen years when he just felt like god left him and there was no where to turn or talk too, he thought family gave up on him and he fell more and more away from god but really god was there the whole time calling him, he just turned the voice off and he heard nothing. He started to rebel he grew his hair out, went to movies behind his parents back, smoke and drank until he couldn’t feel or remember where he was, then started to sell drugs to make the extra cash till things started to go bad, deals started 2 fall people started to prank call telling him if they see him on the streets he wasn’t going to see tomorrow but he didn’t care he thought he knew it all so he walked with pride even thou he was walking on his death bed he didn’t care cause he had said that he didn’t need no one, he only went to church cause his parents made him, The rules of the church is stupid, the pastors are brain washing everyone, why do we got to this or that, he told his friend that they will never catch him in the church again when he turned eighteen he want out and he did when he was kicked out for the third time he moved away but found himself coming back almost every Sunday but he didn’t do anything just sat there till that glorious Saturday as the elder of the church was talking to him tears started to fall then a actor that he respected and learned a lot from asked him if he wanted to pray with him so he agreed as he walked down that middle row from the back door he felt his heart pound faster tears started running down his face but the walk felt like a pitch black tunnel with a light shining and saying “come home come home. “ when he reached the light he felt his arm’s going up started to talk to God asking God to forgive him and he heard a voice saying leave it at the alter your leaving the same person. So he started to take his chains off took his earring out and felt the power of God just fall on him. The load the Devil had put on him was laid down and he turned and walked out with a smile on his face. But was put to the test as he walked out the doors friends looked at him weird telling him that he was crazy, telling him how stupid he was for turn back to God, stared to say ill give u three maybe till tomorrow but they where quickly silenced the next day when he sat on the front row Sunday morning he was into the music the preaching responding to the alter call then that Sunday night he was back at the alter making a promise to God that he would never leave, never turn his back on him again, he would do what ever it takes to realize that the time is ticking and when the ticking is done and the rapture has came then the saints will come home!. Where will you be when the time is done all those that has fallen needs to get there life right with him? God loves us no matter what happens in are life he’ll love you forever and never leave you or forsake you. Just like that young man he blamed God for everything but God didn’t do anything, you did it you make the wrong in your life not God, you make loving the lord hard. God wants to help you with your problems but you keep turning away from the hand God has reaching out to you, because you want to fix the problem by yourself but u keep falling on your face and u wondering why God would let you fall when you’re the one not wanting to take the hand that’s waiting to help you up and never let you fall again. You just have to want to him and trust him with all your heart. Are you ready for when the ticking stops? Are you ready to fall on your knee’s and say I give u all my life is yours in your controlling the devil has taking control to long and has made you go thru a lot its time for you to tell the devil enough is enough. This will happen on the night you fall on your knee’s…………
